Kardashev Scale: Reaching Type I

At the current rate were moving reaching Type I civilization will be extremely difficult to achieve, especially with our politics and economics underlying greed. If we can some how harness the power of AI without having it destroy or enslaving us then maybe we can reverse global warming and use that energy to reach a Type I civilization.
